Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, where I analyze different Instagram profiles every week and implement new ideas to my profile (@ivoshin).

This week, I chose to analyze Nicole Esposito, @neflute, who is the Professor of Flute at the University of Iowa. The reason I chose to analyze her is that she has a huge following, with over 12.1k followers. Her content is also found all over the search page, and I was curious to see what type of hashtags she uses. She posts an average of 2 to 3 posts every two days, which is really fantastic. Here are the two main takeaways from her page.

Ideas for Highlights:

The first thing that I found interesting is her "Silliness" highlight. She uses this highlight to post the most 'silly' situations she has been with the flute. While other artists want to post only the more serious videos, her "Silliness" highlights show another side of the artist's life, giving a different personality to the profile. This week I was too busy playing in recitals throughout the state so I didn't have time to work on something like that, but it is definitely an idea I plan to incorporate in my Instagram in the future.

Another good idea I got from her is that she has a highlight named "Places & People". I love to travel and perform globally and want to incorporate this "Places" concept.

Personal Hashtag:

The last tip I got from her posts is her hashtag usage. P I won't use most of the hashtags she uses (such as #gucci), but what caught my attention is that she hashtags her name. I think that by doing so, it makes it easier to access everything related to the artist. Having that in mind, I started doing that with my Instagram posts of this week.

That's it for this week. Next week I will be bringing more tips and analyzing another profile. I hope you learned something new today and if so, make sure to come back next week to see who am I going to analyze!
