Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, where I analyze different Instagram profiles every week and implement new ideas to my profile (@ivoshin).

This week I analyzed Hélène Boulègue (@helene_boulegue_flute), who is the winner of the Kobe International Flute Competition. I had the chance to watch her perform at this year’s National Flute Association Convention in Salt Lake City and was totally inspired by her dynamic playing.

Content Ideas

She posts a large variety of different content, which is exactly how i want my profile to look like. There is a good mixture of photos and videos. I was particularly inspired by her posts that showcase what pieces she is currently working on. It reminds me that even though she is a professional artist, she is still constantly practising, and gives me motivation to keep working hard! It is also really aesthetically pleasing.

Caption Ideas

She has a large following and really connects to her audience. She often puts questions in her captions like “What are you playing these days?”. I thought this was such a great way to connect to my followers and decided to implement this in my weekly post. She also adds the #practice hashtag in her posts, and it was a great way to connect to not only flutists but also other musicians.

That's it for this week. Next week I will be bringing more tips and analyzing another profile. I hope you learned something new today and if so, make sure to come back next week to see who am I going to analyze!
